BANANA BREAD/CAKE
3/4 C butter, softened
2 1/4 C sugar
3 eggs
1 1/4 C mashed bananas
1/3 C sour cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 C flour
1 1/8 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
dash of cinnamon
To prepare the bundt cake pan, spray with a cooking spray, then coat the inner edges really well with sugar. This will make a really yummy, sugary, crispy thin outer layer.
Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes
I'm not a big banana fan, but after Marijke's Banana Bread recipe, I might just have to try this one out.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually like banana bread either, which is why I have always been on the lookout for one I like. (Mary's bananas brown before she eats them all). I will have to try Marijke's too.
ReplyDeletei ABSOLUTELY love Marijke's banana bread, my husband at more than half the loaf as soon as it got outof the oven!
ReplyDeleteLooks so delicious. The people in the South love their banana pudding....maybe this will be a good alternative.
ReplyDeleteOops, forgot to include that this recipe calls for flour!!! Recipe updated!
ReplyDeleteI just made this for tomorrow's interviews and it is awesome!! I added a cup of chopped walnuts because I love them with banana bread/cake.
