7-UP Marinade

For years I have heard people talk  about making a marinade for meat thats base is 7-UP. I finally found it online the other day and thought I would try it out. Its a pretty quick meal, especially if you do chicken and throw it on the grill.

7-UP Marinade

1 Can 7-UP (or Sprite), 12 oz.
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup Canola Oil
1 TBSP. Horseradish Sauce
1 tsp. Minced Garlic
6-8 Chicken Breasts

Mix all ingredients together an put in large Ziplock bag. Add  chicken and marinate overnight or @ least 6 hours in fridge. Cook however you like; Grill, bake, fry... just like any other chicken, but best grilled.

  2. We made this for dinner tonight and it was a huge hit! I used Sprite & then since we don't have a BBQ we used our broiler. It turned out great! Isaac needed some convincing that I really did use pop. He thought that was downright silly. ;) Thanks for the great new recipe!
