Snickerdoodles

While we were in Utah last month Wyatt fell in love with Grandma P's Snickerdoodle cookies. He even asked her to write out her recipe so he could give it to me to make at home. I thought it was pretty cute. Grandma gladly wrote it out for us and so on Saturday night we made snickerdoodles just for Wyatt. Well, not really just for Wyatt but it was his choice.

Snickerdoodles

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 cup shortening

2 eggs

1 tsp baking soda

2 tsp cream of tarter

1/2 tsp salt

2 3/4 cups flour

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add dry ingredients. Roll into balls and then roll in mixture of 1/2 cup sugar & 2 tsp cinnamon.

Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
