Maple Chipotle Pork Chops

I found this recipe in the Southern Living magazine that I subscribe to. I have found lots of great looking recipes in SL Mag over the past few months, but this one is the first one we have really loved. These pork chops are delicious!! And even better, they are simple; just three ingredients in the sauce. The chipotle peppers as essential to this recipe, & can be found in the same section as the taco seasoning/shells. This is a great dinner idea now that the weather is warming up and we can grill again!

Maple Chipotle Pork Chops

1/2 Cup BBQ Sauce {I used Sticky Fingers Carolina Sweet}
1/2 Cup maple Syrup {I used pure}
2 TBSP. Canned Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce, minced
Pork Chops {can use bone in or boneless. I used boneless because thats what I prefer}
Salt
Pepper
Seasoning Salt {I used Lawrys}

Whisk together first 3 ingredients & reserve half. Rinse pork chops and pat dry. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and seasoning salt on both sides of each chop & place on preheated (350-400 degree) grill. Cover and grill about 9 minutes per side. During the last 5 minutes of grilling time, start basting the pork chops with half of the BBQ mixture. Remove from grill and drizzle with remaining BBQ sauce. Serve warm & enjoy!
